Finance Assistant

Permanent, full time or part time (4-days) considered, all year round (52-week contract), 40 hours per week

Are you a detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a meaningful impact within a vibrant educational community? Saint Nicholas School is seeking a proactive Finance Assistant to join our dedicated Bursary team.

In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our daily financial operations. From reconciling accounts for our main school and Rocking Horse Nursery & Preschool to liaising with the Estates team on essential school resources , you will ensure our financial health supports an environment where learning thrives.

As our Finance Assistant, your week will be varied and rewarding, you will work closely with the Finance team to support both Saint Nicholas School and Rocking Horse Nursery . You will also work with a variety of other members of school staff on a range of different tasks related to your role. There will also be other opportunities, should you want them to get involved in the wider school community. 

We are looking for a qualified and experienced individual who will be able to take ownership of their role, whilst being a collaborative team player. You will be able to maintain a high standard of ethics and professionalism when dealing with colleagues, parents and external stakeholders. 

Terms & Conditions:-

·         There is a staff fee discount worth up to 50% (after completion of 1 years’ service).

·         Membership of the school’s pension scheme subject to meeting eligibility criteria

-         Annual leave is 20 days, plus bank holidays and Christmas closure (usually 4-5 days)

-         Free lunch during term times

-         Free onsite parking
