The governors are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated and experienced level 3 qualified early years educator to the role of Room Lead for our thriving Baby Room provision. The Room Lead will work under the guidance of the Day Care Manager to lead the provision for the Under Twos. This is an all-year-round position and the post holder will work on a shift pattern, with the nursery being open from 7.45am – 6pm.
The successful candidate will:

- have experience of leading and managing teams successfully
- have the ability to form positive relationships with young children, parents and staff quickly
- demonstrate excellent communication and interaction skills
- work well as part of a team

- demonstrate good initiative
- be clear about how to support and develop children’s well-being and progress under the guidance of the Day Care Manager
- be excited at the prospect of being part of a popular and well respected maintained nursery school
Safeguarding is a very important aspect of Plym Bridge Nursery School & Day Care. All applicants will be expected to have a fully enhanced DBS check and disclose any issues which may be relevant to them working in a nursery.
