About this Role

What skills and experience we're looking for

The governors are looking to appoint a fixed term level 3 Day Care assistant to cover a maternity leave, working within our thriving under twos provision.

Experience of working with early years children is essential as is an early years level three qualification.

We are looking for a member of staff who works well as part of a team and is clear about how to support and develop children’s wellbeing and progress under the guidance of the manager. The candidate will have the ability to form positive relationships with young children quickly and be excited at the prospect of joining a rapidly expanding under twos provision within our thriving nursery school.

Safeguarding is a very important aspect of Ham Drive Nursery School & Day Care. All applicants will be expected to have a full DBS check and disclose any issues which may be relevant to them working in a nursery.

The candidate will be required to undergo a full enhanced DBS check and must be eligible to work in the UK.
