We are seeking a passionate and
experienced Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator (SENDCO) to
join our secondary school team. The SENDCO will be responsible for ensuring
that all students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND)
receive the support and resources they need to thrive academically, socially,
and emotionally. You will play a key role in promoting an inclusive school
environment and supporting the development and delivery of tailored learning
plans for students with SEND.
The
role will be a key link for staff, parents/carers and agencies while working
closely with the Senior Leadership Team as part of the Strategic Leadership of
the school to ensure the best outcomes for our students.
This is a great place to work. We offer a positive and supportive working environment, well-motivated students and a chance to join the school at a very exciting time in its development.
We are lucky to work in modern well-equipped accommodation, with superb
facilities, situated on a beautiful site on the edge of the Peak District
National Park. We are within easy commuting
distance of Manchester, Sheffield, Chesterfield and East Cheshire.
For an informal discussion of the post, please contact Greg Raynor, Headteacher, graynor@chapelhigh.org.uk.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expects all staff to share this commitment. This post is subject to an enhanced DBS check.
