About the Role

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) who will:

·         Lead and develop our SEND provision across the school.

·         Work closely with staff, families and external professionals to ensure highquality support for pupils with additional needs.

·         Support the identification of pupils with SEND and oversee high quality adaptive teaching and learning and effective interventions.

·         Provide guidance and training to staff to ensure inclusive practice is embedded throughout the school.

·         Contribute to strategic planning as part of our improvement journey.

This role is ideal for an experienced SENCO or a teacher with a strong SEND background who is ready to take the next step.

We are looking for someone who:

·         Is passionate about inclusive education and improving outcomes for all pupils.

·         Has a thorough understanding of the SEND Code of Practice.

·         Can build strong, positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.

·         Is reflective, proactive and committed to school improvement.
