About this Role

The governing body at Bassingbourn Community Primary School seeks an LA Governor and a Co-Opted Governor to join its existing governing body of 11 governors.

We're looking for dedicated individuals to join our School Governing Board – no teaching experience needed, just a commitment to helping children thrive.

Being a school governor is a unique and rewarding way to support early education in our community.
As a governor, you will:

• Help set the strategic vision for the school
• Support and challenge school leaders to ensure high standards
• Champion the needs of pupils, parents, and staff
• Gain valuable skills in leadership, governance, and education
You don’t need to be an education expert — governors come from all walks of life.
