About this Role

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a proactive and compassionate Pastoral Assistant to join our dedicated team. This key role focuses on providing high-quality pastoral care and support to students, helping to promote their wellbeing, personal development, and sense of belonging.

We’re looking for someone who is committed to making a real difference in the lives of children and young people with autism, complex needs and SEMH.

       Who We’re Looking For

·      - Experience in a pastoral or similar support role.

·      - Confident in building positive relationships with children and young people.

·      - Compassionate, approachable, and committed to inclusive practice.

·      - Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and EHCPs is desirable.

What You’ll Be Involved In

·      - Leading on pupil attendance and engagement.

·      - Delivering targeted wellbeing and behaviour interventions.

·      - Providing in-class support to help pupils access learning.

·      - Acting as Deputy Safeguarding Lead, supporting the Designated Safeguarding Lead.

·      - Assisting with the implementation and administration of EHCPs (Education, Health and Care Plans).
