About this Role

At The Cottesloe School, our philosophy is that every student deserves the opportunity to thrive academically, socially, and personally. We are proud of our inclusive and supportive atmosphere, where respect, integrity, and a love of learning are at the core of everything we do. Our dedicated and committed staff work tirelessly to create an environment where students are encouraged to explore their interests, develop their talents, and achieve their full potential. We have a shared commitment to fostering student success.

Working at The Cottesloe School offers a rewarding experience within a vibrant and challenging learning community. Our students benefit from highly qualified and exceptionally committed staff, who recognise the importance of creative and challenging teaching and high professional standards.

We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Assistant Teacher / Learning Support Assistant to mainly support our Computing and Business Studies Depts or Maths Dept.  This would be an ideal opportunity to gain experience of working with students if you are interested in pursuing a career in education.  The successful candidate will be someone who can work calmly and professionally with students to support them with their learning needs, and is confident working in a classroom setting.  Some experience of working with young people of secondary school age is essential.

If you are passionate about supporting student development and achievement and want to contribute to a school with a strong ethos of inclusion and support, we encourage you to apply.

Please contact Anne-Marie Hibbert (SENDCO) if you would like to discuss this role further or visit the school (strongly recommended)   ahibbert@cottesloe.bucks.sch.uk

The closing date for applications is 9.00am on Tuesday 21 April 2026, with interviews taking place shortly after.

We reserve the right to interview and appoint before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
