About this Role

We are seeking to appoint a highly skilled and ambitious Teacher of Business Studies and Economics to join our successful and thriving department. This is a great time to join us and contribute to the ongoing success and growth of The Cottesloe School.

Both Business Studies and Economics are exceptionally popular subjects, delivering strong student outcomes across KS4 and KS5. The department currently offers GCSE Business Studies and A Level Business Studies, alongside A Level Economics.

The successful candidate must possess the requisite knowledge and pedagogical skill to effectively teach both subjects at Key Stage 5, adding significant capacity and expertise to a dedicated team led by very strong leadership.

We welcome applications from both Early Career Teachers and experienced professionals who are committed to maximising student achievement and becoming part of our supportive, high-achieving school community.

Please email Alan Youngs (Assistant Headteacher Sixth Form and line manager of Business and Economics) for further information or to visit the school: ayoungs@cottesloe.bucks.sch.uk

The deadline for completed applications is 9.00am on Tuesday 13th January 2026.

We reserve the right to interview and appoint before the closing date, so early applications are encouraged.
