Apprentice Teaching Assistant: In line with

Graduate Teaching Assistant: Bucks Pay range 1b/6
£24,836 - £25,823 (Full time equivalent. Hours worked will be paid depending on
experience and equivalent to £12.87 to £13.38 per hour.
Contract Type: Fixed term
for 1 year with a view to the role becoming permanent on successful completion
of studies.
Hours: Monday to
Friday 8.30 to 15.30 term time only

About the role
As an Apprentice or
Graduate Teaching Assistant, you will work under the instruction/guidance of
teaching and senior staff to undertake education support duties. You will assist
the class teacher in the day to day needs of the pupils in their care to enable
the teacher to implement the curriculum and respond to the pupils’ needs and to
maintain complete confidentiality on all school matters.
This is a fantastic
opportunity for you to start your career in education, gaining experience in
supporting our teachers and in supporting our pupils with a range of learning
needs to achieve their goals and targets. You will be well supported by
teaching and senior staff throughout your time with us and whilst working
towards your Level 2 or 3 qualification

About you
Experience of working with children is not essential but you
should have a calm and patient nature with a mature outlook and the ability to
maintain complete confidentiality on all school matters.
Good communication skills with adults, children and young adults are required, as are good literacy and numeracy skills. As a minimum, we require passes in English and Maths GCSE A*-C / 4 and above or a Level 2 qualification is desirable. A good working knowledge of ICT would be helpful.
