Level 2-3 Teaching Assistant – Wood End Infant & Preschool

Wood End Infant & Preschool is seeking a dedicated Level 2-3 Teaching Assistant to join our nurturing, child‑centred early years team. Working with children aged 2–5, you’ll help create a warm, stimulating environment where every child feels safe, supported, and excited to learn.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Brings enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine passion for early years education
  • Supports play‑based learning and the EYFS curriculum
  • Builds positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Encourages independence, communication, and social development
  • Contributes to a caring, inclusive school community

In this role, you’ll work closely with teachers and practitioners to deliver high‑quality learning experiences, provide individualised support, and help maintain a joyful, well‑organised preschool setting.

If you’re committed to helping young children thrive and want to be part of a friendly, supportive team at the heart of the Wood End community, we’d love to hear from you.

Wood End is a school that offers an exciting learning environment with a strong ethos of teamwork.  We welcome applications from candidates with a love of children, a knowledge and understanding of their development and a commitment to creative child centred learning.
