Are you looking
for a practical, hands-on role where you can learn new skills and make a real
difference every day? Thomas Hickman School is seeking an enthusiastic and
reliable Apprentice Caretaker to join our busy site team.
What you will do
As an Apprentice Caretaker, you’ll support the maintenance and daily caretaking of our vibrant primary school, working closely with the Site Manager and caretaker. This is a varied role, and you’ll be involved in everything from cleaning and minor repairs to grounds maintenance, setting up for events, site security, and helping keep our environment safe and welcoming for all.
You’ll receive full training as part of your apprenticeship, including site safety and basic first aid, and have the opportunity to work towards a recognised qualification.

Core Hours
Core hours are 10am to 6pm, Monday to Thursday and 10.30am to 6pm Friday.
