We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled practitioner to join our Outstanding Nursery School and provide support for our children with additional needs. We are looking for passion, dedication and warmth and would welcome applications from suitably qualified Early Years staff (Level 2 or 3) or those with an interest in working with children with additional needs. You will be supported by the SENCo and our SEN teacher to help provide the best for our children. We are looking for: · A talented, organised and dedicated practitioner who is passionate about delivering high quality and challenging learning experiences to all children including those with SEND. · A flexible, open-minded practitioner who is willing to try different strategies. About you · To have a good knowledge & understanding of Early Years pedagogy · To be able to work as a member of a team and manage staff. · To liaise with relevant staff to ensure high standards of work and behaviour are maintained · To communicate effectively with colleagues and parents. · To keep accurate records in accordance with the school’s policies Visits to the school are encouraged and warmly welcomed. This role is initially a fixed term contract for 1 year (16.5hrs p/w 0830-1200 daily), but there is likely to be the opportunity for the role to be extended or made permanent.
