We are looking for a knowledgeable compliance
manager with experience of legal compliance, managing risk, negotiating major
contracts and managing budgets to join our School.
In this role, you will manage the School’s register of policies, fulfil an internal audit function and advise the Senior Leadership Team on all aspects of regulatory compliance. You will also provide support to the Bursar (as Clerk to the Governors) to ensure that Governors are updated on legal and compliance aspects of School activities.
This role may be worked as full-time or part-time at a minimum of 0.8FTE working 37.5 hours per week from 08:30 to 16:30 Monday to Friday (pro-rata for part-time hours).
About You
The ideal candidate
will have the ability to interpret legislation, regulations and guidance and be
able to explain the requirements in simple, practical terms to non-specialists.
They will have project management skills, the ability to think ahead and
excellent IT skills.
