About this Role

You will:

·         Plan and deliver individual and small group lessons using autism-informed approaches that promote communication, regulation, and engagement

·         Collaborate closely with teaching assistants and specialist professionals to create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment

·         Contribute to the development and review of EHCP targets and individual learning plans to ensure every pupil’s progress and well-being

·         Support pupils’ inclusion in wider school activities and maintain strong home-school partnerships

·         Maintain accurate records of pupil progress and contribute to assessment and reporting processes

·         Engage in ongoing professional development to deepen your expertise and share best practice

You will work within a supportive leadership team committed to school improvement, where your contribution will be valued and your professional growth encouraged.

About You

You will be a dedicated professional who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and has a strong understanding of autism and evidence-based SEN strategies
  • Is passionate about creating a safe, stimulating environment where every pupil can thrive
  • Demonstrates adaptability and creativity in planning and delivering personalised learning
  • Communicates effectively and builds positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues
  • Is compassionate, patient, and resilient, with a commitment to inclusive education and continuous professional development
  • Has experience or a keen interest in working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
