Our Modern Foreign Languages (MFL) department is a collaborative, energetic team dedicated to bringing languages to life. We want our students to not just pass exams, but to develop a genuine passion for international cultures and global communication.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and dedicated Teacher of Spanish to join our successful MFL department. The ability to teach French to Key Stage 3 (and potentially Key Stage 4) would be a distinct advantage. Key Responsibilities:
Teach high-quality Spanish lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4 (GCSE).
Deliver engaging French lessons at Key Stage 3 to help foster a dual-language foundation.
Inspire and motivate students of all abilities with interactive, culturally rich lessons.
Track student progress and implement targeted interventions to ensure high achievement.
A qualified teacher (QTS) with a degree in Spanish or a related subject.
The ability to teach French as a second language is highly desirable.
A passion for teaching languages and a strong understanding of the current curriculum.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to build strong rapport with young people.
A team player who is eager to contribute to the wider school community.
A highly supportive and tailored induction programme for ECTs.
