From £21,795 actual salary

Term-Time Only + 5 days

Lealands High School would like to recruit a Train to Teach Teaching Assistant to support class teachers in all aspects of teaching and learning.  The successful candidate will enhance opportunities for students and will bring to the role knowledge and practical experience gained through working with young people.  The ability to support the learning of individuals and small groups is essential as are excellent communication skills.  This is a contract supporting the special educational needs of student with Educational and Health Care (EHC) Plans.  Staff employed to this post would be expected to work towards becoming a trained teacher within a maximum of five years from initial appointment.

Applicants for this public-facing post will need to demonstrate the ability to converse and provide effective help or advice fluently in spoken English and achieved a Level 2 or above in English and Maths. For this role you are required to have a degree in any subject.
