About this Role

We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 25.5 hours per week, term time only, Monday – Thursday 8.30am to  1:15pm and Friday 8.30am to 3.30pm.  The purpose of this role is to provide pupils with classroom support for children with additional needs.  We are seeking a candidate who:

·       Has experience of working with children in a Teaching Assistant role

·       Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·      Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

·       Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

·       Is able to work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

·       Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use initiative

·       Is able to work flexibly and professionally
