About this Role

General Assistant–Bramingham Primary School

Salary: £12.85 per hour £16,923 Annual Actual

Contract: Fixed Term to 21st July 2027, with possible extension, funding permitting

30 hours Monday to Friday

Office based - Wednesday and Friday 8.30am -3.45pm  (1 hour lunch) 

 Classroom based- Monday, Tuesday and Thursday 9am-3.30pm (30 minute Lunch break)

(term time only- 38 weeks )

Salary range: NJC Scale Level 1B pt 2

Start Date: As soon as possible 

Closing Date:  Monday 23rd February 2026 at 9am

Interview date: Week commencing 23rd February 2026 

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate General Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team. We are looking for someone who relishes a varied role, is enthusiastic, patient, and fully committed to both supporting administrative tasks in our busy office and assisting  in the classroom. Be willing to undertake first aid training .

You will need to be passionate about meeting the needs of our children.  We are a fully inclusive school, with a resourced provision for children with physical and medical needs.

The successful candidate will:
