About the Role
You will
work closely with class teachers to support pupils in lessons, both one-to-one
and in small groups. You’ll help children stay engaged, understand their
learning, and make progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Support teaching and
learning in the classroom
- Work with individual pupils
and small groups
- Help pupils stay focused and
achieve their learning goals
- Assist with planning and
assessment for targeted pupils
- Promote positive behaviour
and act as a role model
- Support lunchtime
supervision
- Support breakfast and/or
after school club

- A strong team player who can
also use their own initiative
- Good communication skills,
especially with children
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and
eager to learn
- Able to support pupils with
a range of needs, including SEN
- Basic ICT skills and good
organisation

Requirements
- GCSEs (Grade 4–9 / A*–C) in
English and Maths, or equivalent

including an enhanced DBS, are required
