Key Responsibilities
- Administration: Managing the club's
daily register and maintaining confidential pupil records (e.g., contact
details, dietary needs, medical information).
- Supervision & Welfare: Leading and
supervising the children, ensuring their safety, and administering light
meals and basic first aid in line with school policies.
- Team Leadership: Overseeing the After
School Club Assistant(s) and ensuring a high standard of care and play
opportunities is consistently delivered.
- Safeguarding: Always upholding the
school’s robust safeguarding policy and acting as the primary point of
contact during club hours.
- Activity Planning: Planning and setting
up a range of engaging and age-appropriate activities, including games,
sports, and crafts.
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with primary-aged
children.
- Strong organisational and administrative
skills, with proficiency in record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and
interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with pupils, parents,
and school staff.
- A relevant qualification in Childcare or
equivalent (Desirable).
- A committed understanding of
safeguarding and child protection procedures.
