About this Role

St Matthew’s Primary School are looking for a Teaching Assistant to join their Early Years team.

From our new Teaching Assistant we would ask that you are: 

  • Be a positive, flexible and proactive team player

  • Show demonstrable impact in your current role

  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience of working within Early Years

  • Support the teaching and learning of individual, or groups of pupils

  • Work in collaboration with teachers, contributing to planning and assessment of pupils

  • Have a good working knowledge of the primary curriculum and teaching phonics

This role is fixed term to 31st August 2026 initially, term time only, 32.5 hours per week, 8:30am-3:45pm.
