Shefford Lower School has an excellent reputation as a friendly, thriving and values-based school. With over 500 children, we are a very well resourced, and vibrant setting. We pride ourselves in our warm ‘family’ atmosphere, so that both children and staff develop and achieve their potential.

We are looking for a Site Agent to assist the Site Manager with maintaining the school premises, health and safety, security and cleaning. The successful candidate will be a good communicator, professional, well organised, able to work under pressure and be flexible. They will be confident at performing general maintenance tasks.

School operating hours are 6:30am to 6:30pm. Hours to rotate weekly from Early to Late shifts as follows:

Early Monday – Friday 6:30am – 11:30am

Late Monday – Friday 1:30pm – 6:30pm

Occasional cover will be required over a split shift to enable the opening and closing of the site during periods of annual leave. The school is happy to discuss flexible shift patterns/hours with the right candidate.
