At Sheerhatch, our vision is ‘Inspiring Individuals and Growing Thriving Communities’. We are a friendly and caring community school serving children aged 4 to 11 from Cople, Willington and the surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on empowering each child to reach their full potential by fostering curiosity, confidence and a lifelong love of learning. Our values of being Ready, Respectful and Safe are lived out every day across our two sites and underpin everything we do.
The successful Office Manager will work closely with the Headteacher to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the school office and administrative systems. You will be central to coordinating key functions such as communication, administration, pupil records, attendance monitoring, and supporting colleagues and families, playing a vital role in helping our school to operate effectively and continue to deliver an outstanding experience for pupils, staff and the community.
We are looking for someone who:
Has excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills.
Is proactive, flexible, and able to manage competing priorities with professionalism and integrity.
Has experience of office or administrative work and is comfortable leading tasks independently.
Shares our commitment to contributing positively to our supportive school culture and community.
In return, Sheerhatch offers a supportive leadership team, friendly and committed colleagues, and the chance to make a real difference in a school where children are happy, safe and encouraged to thrive. You will be joining at an exciting time as we continue to innovate and grow, with the full support of governors, staff and families alike.
We warmly welcome applications from candidates who are enthusiastic about playing a central role in our school’s journey. Visits to the school and informal conversations with the Headteacher can be arranged on request.
Thank you for your interest in joining Sheerhatch Primary School. We look forward to receiving your application.
