The East SILC is a complex organisation which operates on a variety of sites to provide a range of outreach services across the city, including partnerships with primary and secondary providers, the city-wide Physical Difficulties and Medical Service including a moving and handling service, as well as the Medical Needs Teaching Service for Leeds.
Make a Difference Every Day. Be Part of Something Exceptional.
At East SILC we believe in Exceptional Education for Exceptional Lives.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused EHCP Administrator to join our central team. This is a key role that supports the effective coordination, quality assurance and administration of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), ensuring that statutory processes are met and that our pupils receive the support they need to thrive.
As with all appointments at the East SILC staff may be asked to work at any site within the organisation.
You will play a vital role in supporting the EHCP process across the SILC, working closely with our EHCP Administrators, teachers, parent/carers and external agencies.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Coordinating and tracking EHCP reviews and annual review processes
• Preparing, formatting and quality assuring EHCP documentation
• Ensuring compliance with statutory timelines and requirements
• Liaising with staff, families and external professionals
• Maintaining accurate records and supporting data reporting
• Providing administrative support to the EHCP and SEND processes across the SILC
This role requires high levels of accuracy, organisation and the ability to manage sensitive information professionally and confidentially.
We are looking for someone who:
• Has strong administrative experience, ideally within education, SEND or a similar setting
• Demonstrates excellent organisation and attention to detail
• Can manage competing priorities and meet strict deadlines
• Communicates clearly and professionally with a range of stakeholders
• Is confident working with systems, data and documentation
• Shares our commitment to inclusion and supporting pupils with complex needs
Experience of EHCP processes or statutory frameworks is desirable, but not essential—training and support will be provided.
