About this Role

Salary: A1/B1

Hours: 31.25 hours a week

Contract: Term Time Only (38 weeks a year)

The number of children throughout school with SEND, and the complexity of need has continued to increase sharply in recent years. As the level of need has increased and changed, the work flows required by the SEND Team have also changed and increased. Changes to the funding systems means that the number of EHC Plans in school is increasingly rapidly which is also impacting significantly on the requirements of the SEND Team.

Due to this, a position has become available to work within the SEND Team as an assistant to the team to cover a period of maternity leave. 

This is the perfect opportunity for someone who is passionate about SEND and keen to support the school in ensuring our children get the very best provision possible. Candidates will need to have been classroom based within the last two years in order to fully understand the SEND systems and processes used.
