We are looking for an outstanding Learning Support Assistant.
Alwoodley School are looking to appoint a highly motivated, Learning Support Assistant. The successful candidate will be required to support, under the direction of the, class teacher and other professionals, the education and social and emotional wellbeing of children in the class. Experience of supporting children with additional needs would be beneficial. Your role will be to help pupils to thrive and overcome barriers to learning. You will aim to encourage and enthuse the pupils to participate in all school activities to their best abilities so they can learn effectively. An important part of your job will be to collaborate with other teaching professionals in school, so it is important that you are able to work well with other people. We are looking for someone who is keen to make a difference to pupils and the community. It would be helpful if you have a natural ability in building rapport with pupils. As a Learning Support Assistant in our school, you will be expected to support all pupils across the school as and when needed therefore the ability to be flexible and adapt to the needs to the school and its pupils is a priority.
