We are an outstanding special school for pupils aged
4–19 with a wide range of complex needs. Our approach is rooted in care,
respect and ambition: we expect the very best for our pupils and support them
to achieve it. Our curriculum is unique, purposeful, creative and designed to
unlock every child’s potential.
We are looking to appoint a talented teacher to lead
learning in a class of children aged 16 - 19 who each have a range of complex
needs and communication and interaction difficulties. Whilst the vacancy advertised is in Post 16 our
staff are sometimes required to teach in other phases of the school which
includes Primary and Secondary. Flexibility is an asset!
Our Post 16 provision, based at our specialist post 16
centre, prides itself in offering a broad range of vocational and work-related
learning opportunities.
Craft, Design and Technology, Horticulture, Performing Arts,
Catering and Hospitality and Construction are just some of the exciting subject areas that we offer as part of our
curriculum, do you have a passion and skill set that could lend itself to the
high quality delivery and development of one or more of these subject areas?
