About this Role

This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, 52 weeks, Monday to Friday.

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated, experienced, proactive School Business Manager to join All Saints Catholic College, having a key strategic role working closely with the Principal and Senior Leadership Team, and playing an active part in school life.

The successful candidate will have a proven record of leading on financial management, facilities and site management, enjoy strategic planning and ensure compliance and best use of school resources. You will be an enthusiastic line manager of the finance, IT and premises teams, having the skills needed to drive continuous school improvement.

This is a lead professional role and is suited to someone with extensive organisational skills who can contribute effectively to the senior team to ensure that the school is able to meet its educational aims.

All Saints is an 11-16 school, situated near the northern boundary of Kirklees.  We are a Catholic school with students attending from diverse cultural backgrounds, which contributes to the distinctive ethos.  In November 2022, Ofsted judged All Saints “Good” in every category and we were judged “Good with Outstanding Catholic Life” in terms of our S48 inspection by the Catholic Schools Inspectorate in March 2025.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join our College making substantial progress under current leadership. In turn, we are looking for a candidate committed to playing a part in transforming the lives of our young people.

What we can offer you:

At All Saints Catholic College, we aim to create a happy workplace culture through promoting a healthy work/life balance. We do that by providing a package of flexible employee benefits, including:

  • An attractive pension scheme for both Teaching and Support staff.
  • A high-quality wellbeing package including medical cover, counselling, physiotherapy, fast track medical cover, care service and a 24 hour GP-helpline.
  • Care First Advice - a 24/7 information and counselling service.
  • We are part of the Cycle to Work scheme. Tax free bikes and safety equipment can be payable by payroll deduction through a partnership with Cyclescheme.
  • Free parking

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are able to work as part of the whole staff team, and who will support and uphold the Catholic ethos and practices of the school.

All Saints is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Therefore, we expect all workers, volunteers and employees to share this commitment. All appointments are subject to satisfactory pre-employment checks, including online searches and a satisfactory Enhanced Criminal Record with Barred List check through the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).

It is an offence to apply for the role if an applicant is barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children (where the role involves this type of regulated activity).

A conviction may not exclude candidates from appointment but will be considered as part of the recruitment process.
