About this Role

We are looking to recruit a knowledgeable and committed individual to become a Business Support Officer working in the attendance department at All Saints Catholic College.

Applicants must have a sound knowledge of an administration role and be able to handle a variety of tasks quickly, efficiently, and calmly, and be able to work to tight deadlines, having excellent organisational, administrative and IT skills.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Attendance Officer, undertaking tasks relating to data input, customer service and reporting. Please see the context sheet for more information. Training will be given for the attendance aspects of this role, if needed.

As part of the role, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive and highly efficient service dealing with enquiries from staff, students and external agencies in a courteous, efficient and professional manner.

This role is 35 hours per week during term time. Monday - Friday 8am-3.30pm. You will also work one additional day at the start of September, to attend whole school training.

What we can offer you:

At All Saints Catholic College, we aim to create a happy workplace culture through promoting a healthy work/life balance. We do that by providing a package of flexible employee benefits, including:

  • An attractive pension scheme for both Teaching and Support staff.

  • Care First Advice - a 24/7 information and counselling service.
  • We are part of the Cycle to Work scheme. Tax free bikes and safety equipment can be payable by payroll deduction through a partnership with Cyclescheme.
  • Free parking

Applications are invited from enthusiastic and highly motivated individuals who are able to work as part of the whole staff team, and who will support and uphold the Catholic ethos and practices of the school.
