About this Role
Cansfield High School is seeking a dedicated and inspiring Pastoral Head of Year to lead on student wellbeing and cultivate a school culture grounded in our core values: Aspirational, Courageous, Curious, Honourable, and Respectful.
Key Responsibilities

Lead and develop the school’s pastoral care strategy.

Provide tailored support for vulnerable students through mentoring and effective multi-agency collaboration.

Oversee and refine systems for monitoring attendance, behaviour, and academic progress.

Design and deliver high-quality enrichment activities.

Build strong and supportive relationships with students, families, staff, and the wider community.

Promote inclusion, resilience, and positive behaviour throughout the school.
37 hours per week, term time plus 2 weeks.
