 Wraparound Care Club Assistant

Permanent, part-time, term-time only role to commence 1 September 2026

12 hours per week

The Wraparound Care Club provision at Solihull School is situated on our Saint Martin's campus, it comprises of a Breakfast Club operating from 7.15am to 8.45am and an After-school Club operating from 3.00pm to 6.00pm during term-time only. 

We are seeking to recruit a Wraparound Care Club Assistant to work Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 3.00pm to 6.00pm in our thriving After School Club.  The successful applicant will hold a L2 or L3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent; it would be desirable if the qualification awarded is an early years qualification approved as full and relevant by the Department for Education.

The successful applicant will assist the Wraparound Care Club Manager with the overall running of the provision, ensuring they deliver high-quality play opportunities and activities. They will have suitable IT skills to assist with the arrival and departure of children and have a high regard for safeguarding children protocols.  The successful candidate will have a highly professional manner when dealing with pupils, their families and the school community and be able to provide support for pupils completing their homework.
