Oak School is a Primary Special School for pupils with cognition and
communication difficulties who have a diverse range of specialist learning needs. Federated with Victoria School and Victoria
College, Cherry Oak School provides pupils with a bespoke curriculum through
our explorers and connectors pathways. The successful candidate will be an outstanding classroom
practitioner with a passion for teaching. Candidates will be able to inspire
and engage our pupils and will be keen to join our committed staff team.
You will have the highest expectations for all pupils to achieve well, with an excellent understanding of the challenges they face. Your planning will effectively support the individual needs of the pupils you teach. You will be able to make good use of a range of technology to support both learning and communication. Special school experience would be an advantage however, for the right candidate, as long as you are motivated, enthusiastic and ready for a challenge, Cherry Oak could be the place for you!
