The successful
candidate will have a positive outlook, be reliable and discrete, have
practical, hands- on skills, a flexible approach and be able to cope with the
varied nature of the role. They will need to be able to use their initiative,
be proactive to the needs of the school, have a good understanding of Health
& Safety/COSSH Regulations and be able to take on small projects as
required.
The post holder
will undertake general maintenance work around the site and carry out some
grounds work. Whilst previous experience and/or relevant skills are preferred,
they are not essential. The role involves a split shift working pattern (to be
negotiated) with a requirement to open the site in the morning and secure it in
the evening.
*The post is full
time, permanent, 36.5 hours per week, all year round. Holidays must be taken
during school holiday times.
