Bournville Village Primary School is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented teacher to join our dedicated team. The position for the 26-27 academic year is in Year 6.

📚 The Role

As a Teacher at Bournville Village Primary School, you will:

  • Take responsibility for teaching and leading learning within your allocated class.
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive, and ambitious lessons that enable all pupils to achieve their full potential.
  • Plan, assess and adapt learning to meet the needs of all learners.
  • Maintain high expectations for behaviour, achievement, and personal development.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
  • Contribute positively to the wider life of the school and support our shared vision and values.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to continuously improve outcomes for children.

We're Looking For Someone Who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Has recent UKS2 class teaching experience.
  • Has a strong understanding of effective primary teaching and learning.
  • Demonstrates excellent classroom practice and a commitment to high standards.
  • Builds positive relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Is reflective, proactive, and committed to their own professional development.
  • Shares our commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • Will contribute positively to our supportive and collaborative school culture.
