Chilcote Primary School is seeking to appoint a motivated, skilled and enthusiastic Catering Supervisor to lead our busy school kitchen and ensure the delivery of high‑quality, nutritious meals for our children.

What we are looking for
We are seeking a Catering Supervisor who can:
Lead the day‑to‑day running of our school catering service, ensuring meals are prepared, cooked and served to a high standard.
Supervise, support and coordinate catering staff, ensuring a positive and efficient working environment.
Plan and implement varied, nutritious menus in line with nutritional standards and dietary requirements.
Maintain excellent hygiene and safety standards across the kitchen, ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, Food Hygiene and Environmental Health requirements.
Manage stock, oversee ordering processes and support financial procedures.
Contribute positively to school life, including supporting catering needs for school events and functions.
What you will bring
Experience working in a professional kitchen environment.
A Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate or equivalent.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
A flexible, proactive and professional approach.
