About this Role

Bloomsbury Nursery School is a Local Authority Maintained Nursery School, providing exceptional care and education for children aged 2 to 4 years.

Since September 2024, we have been part of the Federation of Bloomsbury and Goodway Local Authority Maintained Nursery Schools. Together, we share an Executive Head Teacher and Governing Board, enabling us to collaborate, share expertise and continually develop excellent practice across both schools.

Bloomsbury Nursery School is also the lead school for the Heart Midlands Early Years Stronger Practice Hub, working in partnership with settings from across the early years sector to support and promote high-quality early years practice.

We are a forward-thinking and ambitious nursery school, committed to ensuring that every child receives the very best start to their education. We are looking for a passionate teacher who shares our vision, values and commitment to achieving the best outcomes for all children.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is an experienced and skilled EYFS Teacher who can demonstrate a secure understanding of the requirements for learning and development within the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Is caring, friendly and committed to working collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Embraces the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion.
  • Is committed to making a positive difference to the lives of our children, families and wider community.
  • Has high expectations of all children and of themselves.
  • Demonstrates a positive and proactive approach to challenge and change.
  • Is committed to child-centred teaching and learning.
  • Shares our passion for providing outstanding early years education and ensuring the best outcomes for every child.

We can offer you:

  • A happy, welcoming and supportive working environment.
  • A wide range of high-quality professional development opportunities to support your ongoing learning and career progression.
