About this Role

At Lillian de Lissa Nursery School, we are passionate about inclusion and ensuring that our child-centred curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of all children. Our team know the children very well and are able to differentiate the support that they provide each child accordingly.

The successful applicant will work closely with the Senior Nursery Officer, who leads our Two-Year-Old provision, our Class Teacher and our Teaching Team. As a school, we strive to provide CPD opportunities to develop skills and expertise in all areas of children’s learning and development.

Applicants will need to have a relevant Level 2 qualification in Early Years and have experience in supporting children aged two to four years, including children with SEN/D. They must also have the intrinsic motivation to support all of our children to reach their full potential; irrespective of the barriers and/or challenges they may face.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and can be arranged by contacting Eileen Dev by calling 0121 675 3421 or via email on e.dev@ldelissa.bham.sch.uk

Safeguarding

This school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be subject to all necessary pre-employment checks, including: enhanced DBS (criminal conviction check); Childcare Disqualification (where applicable); qualifications (where applicable); medical fitness; identity and right to work in the UK.
