We wish to appoint a full-time Head of French to lead and teach across KS3, KS4 and, where appropriate, KS5. French is taught in ability groups from Year 7 onwards, allowing students to be appropriately supported and challenged throughout their learning journey. The successful candidate will be an outstanding practitioner, capable of delivering high-quality lessons across all key stages, and committed to promoting a love of languages. They will also be expected to contribute to the wider development of the Modern Foreign Languages curriculum and enrichment opportunities. Students follow the AQA syllabus at both GCSE and A Level. Modern Foreign Languages is a thriving area within the school; the quality of teaching and curriculum provision is strong, and outcomes are consistently high, placing the subject among the strongest in the school.
