We are seeking a warm, skilled and
dedicated Pupil Well‑being and ELSA Coordinator to join
Surbiton High Girls’ Preparatory School on a permanent, part‑time basis from September 2026. This role is ideal for a compassionate
professional who is committed to supporting children’s emotional wellbeing and
helping pupils thrive personally, socially, emotionally and academically.
Working closely with the Senior
Leadership Team, safeguarding leads, staff and families, you will play a
central role in delivering early intervention support and shaping a whole‑school culture that prioritises pupils’ mental health and emotional
development.

You will demonstrate sound judgement, professionalism and a clear commitment to safeguarding and confidentiality.

We are looking for a compassionate and reflective practitioner with an ELSA qualification (or a willingness to complete this promptly), a good understanding of children’s mental health and safeguarding requirements, and a child‑centred approach that aligns with the School’s values and ethos.
