We are looking to recruit a SEND teacher to work with a Year 10/11 Green Curriculum (learners with SLD) class. This is an opportunity to work within our engaging Green Curriculum. The successful teacher will provide learning that will make a lasting change to our students. This post will be ideal for a qualified Secondary SEND teacher. Previous experience with students who have SEND is essential.
At Shaftesbury we recognise that academic success for our students is a combination of high quality teaching, a well-designed curriculum, and meeting the student’s pastoral needs.
Becoming part of the Shaftesbury team is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who wants to work in a culture that has high expectations for students with SEND.
Our Green Curriculum is ambitious, led by EHCP needs, and places meeting students’ needs, who are studying the Green Curriculum, at the heart of their success in learning. Our Green Curriculum has a real purpose in starting to prepare our students for employability and life.
Understanding the importance of work/ life balance and wellbeing is at the heart of our leadership and our learning.
We view professional development as an important part of ensuring our students have the best possible academic and personal experiences whilst at Shaftesbury.
Our students deserve the best the teaching profession has to offer. As such I look forward to hearing from you.
