West Lodge Primary School is looking for full time
enthusiastic and hard-working Teaching Assistants to join our supportive staff
team. You must be imaginative, enthusiastic, and
have excellent organisational, communication and people skills.
Graduates who are considering a
career in teaching are encouraged to apply – with career progression into
teaching a possibility in the future via the teaching apprenticeship route.
The successful
applicant will be required to:
Experience in the following areas is desirable: Autism Spectrum Condition – ASC; Attention Deficit Hyperactivity
Disorder – ADHD; Severe Learning Difficulties – SLD; Profound and Multiple
Learning Difficulties – PMLD; Social, Emotional and Mental Health – SEMH;
Experience of de-escalation techniques; Picture Exchange Communication (PECS)
and Makaton.
