About this Role

Fortismere is a high-attaining, mixed foundation secondary school in the heart of Muswell Hill, North London with a strong tradition of excellence. The Headteacher is looking to appoint a part time Admin Assistant responsible for Reception and First Aid for our busy office for a fixed term contract (1 year). The successful candidate will be resourceful, knowledgeable, and able to maintain a calm, friendly and professional manner in our busy school environment.

This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the operations team working closely with the Director of Operations. The post is 20 hours per week working from 10am-2pm, Monday to Friday and term time only (40 weeks). There may be occasions where additional hours may be required, subject to prior agreement and depending on the requirements of the school. You will be responsible for providing excellent Admin services, support, and compliance across the school.  

The successful candidate will have:

·        A good level of ICT competency, excellent communications skills, and the ability to work flexibly 

·        Have understanding of admin procedures and ability to assist a variety of stakeholders

·        The ability to maintain a calm and productive office team across the school

·        Have knowledge of First Aid procedures and Health and Safety
