Winchmore School is seeking an inspirational and visionary Head of Dance to join our vibrant Performing Arts Faculty. We are looking for a dynamic leader who can blend technical excellence with a passion for performance to inspire students across all key stages. As Head of Department, you will shape a diverse curriculum, support in high profile school productions, and lead a team dedicated to fostering a love for movement and expression.

The role:

  • Lead the department, working closely with the Head of Faculty and other department heads
  • The ability to support ECT's and PGCE student teachers within the department
  • The ability to teach Dance across a range of abilities and to be a role model for teaching within the department
  • Foster an environment where students feel supported and encouraged.
  • Contribute to the development of innovative resources and curriculum planning.
  • Support students through internal assessments and external examinations.
