Key Responsibilities
· Support high-quality teaching and learning across Years 5 and 6.
· Deliver small group and one-to-one intervention sessions to accelerate progress, particularly in reading, writing, and maths.
· Work closely with class teachers to provide targeted support and ensure lessons are inclusive and engaging.
· Contribute to the ongoing development of pupils’ independence and readiness for transition to Year 7.
· Use assessment information to support pupil progress and adapt support as needed.
· Foster positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to enhance learning outcomes.
About You
· You have experience working in both Year 5 and Year 6, with a clear understanding of the KS2 curriculum.
· You understand the importance of lower KS2 foundations and how to build upon them effectively.
· You are skilled in delivering reading intervention and can confidently support pupils in writing and maths.
· You are organised, proactive, and committed to supporting the academic and personal development of all pupils.
· You are a strong team player who values collaboration and continuous improvement.
