We are seeking an exceptional and forward-thinking Reception Class Teacher with strong EYFS expertise to join our thriving team at Mount Stewart Federation. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate practitioner who is committed to delivering high-quality early years provision, grounded in research and driven by high expectations for all children.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a deep understanding of effective early years pedagogy, including high-quality adult-child interactions, purposeful provision, and strong outcomes for all learners. Experience in approaches such as Talk Boost, the SHREC (ShREC) approach, and a strong commitment to developing oracy will be highly valued. We are looking for someone who is reflective, ambitious, and outward-facing, with a desire to engage with and support the wider EYFS community through modelling best practice and collaboration with local settings.
You will be joining a well-established and highly skilled EYFS team, working closely with our excellent Nursery Lead, experienced EYFS Leader, and a dedicated team of Reception practitioners across our three-form entry setting. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to a culture of excellence, where professional dialogue, continuous improvement, and teamwork are at the heart of our practice.
