About this Role

Queen’s College, London is seeking an experienced Head of HR to lead and develop the HR function across both our Senior and Prep Schools. Located just behind Oxford Street, we are a thriving independent day school with a proud history of educating girls since 1848.

This is a varied and influential role, suited to an HR leader who is comfortable operating across the full spectrum of HR activity, from recruitment through to reward while embedding effective processes and providing expert guidance to senior leadership on best practice.

Working closely with the Bursar, Co-Heads of the Prep, and the Principal, the Head of HR will play a key role in shaping and fostering a strong, values-driven HR culture and ethos at Queen’s. The position combines strategic input with a hands-on approach, requiring someone who is pragmatic, commercially aware, and equally attuned to the College’s charitable and educational mission.

This is a part-time role and we are open to discussing flexible working arrangements to suit the right candidate.

We reserve the right to close this vacancy early if we receive sufficient applications for the role. Therefore, if you are interested, please submit your application as early as possible.  Interviews will take place at any stage.

Queen’s College, London is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children; applicants must be willing to undergo the requisite pre-employment procedures, including checks with past employers and the Disclosure and Barring Service.

During the shortlisting process, Queen’s College, London will consider carrying out an online search on shortlisted candidates as part of its due diligence.

Queen’s College, London recognises the positive value of diversity, promotes equality and challenges discrimination. We welcome applications from people of all backgrounds.
