We seek to appoint an experienced, ambitious and talented Head of Maths Faculty with a relentless focus on securing high-quality teaching, learning, and student achievement across the department.

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and inspirational leader to join a successful and supportive school community. The successful candidate will be committed to raising attainment, developing an ambitious Maths curriculum, and leading engaging teaching that inspires a love of mathematics across all key stages.

We particularly welcome applications from experienced middle or senior leaders with strong subject knowledge, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of driving improvement and impact within a Maths department.

Main responsibilities:

To lead and manage the Maths Faculty, ensuring high standards of teaching and learning across KS3 and KS4
To ensure that students achieve strong outcomes, regardless of their starting point
To teach Maths across KS3 and KS4
To lead the development of the Maths curriculum and raise standards across the faculty
To monitor and evaluate student progress, implementing effective intervention strategies where required
To support, develop, and inspire colleagues through coaching, collaboration, and professional development
To contribute to whole-school improvement priorities and wider leadership initiatives
To promote a positive, inclusive, and ambitious culture within the department and across the school
