Welcome to Hales Valley Trust! 

I am so glad you have taken the time to visit us. As the CEO of Hales Valley Trust I would like to tell you more about us. 

In 2017 Lutley Primary School became the founder school of Hales Valley Multi Academy Trust. In 2012 they had already joined together as a federation with Lapal Primary School. Together the 2 schools helped one another improve provision and practice for all children. This continues to be a fundamental part of our Trust today. We believe in ‘Success for All’ and we will go above and beyond to ensure everyone in the Hales Valley family experiences this. 

As part of our Trust we have our own Teaching Hub. As a former National Teaching School, Hales Valley Teaching School, supported hundreds of schools and practitioners across the country. We successfully improved provision and outcomes for thousands of children by supporting the leaders and teachers to improve their practice. It was through the Teaching School that we supported 3 of our local schools.  As the partnership with 3 schools in Dudley grew stronger in 2017 they became part of our Hales Valley family and we grew to 5 schools.  

In 2024, we continued to grow our Trust family. Gig-Mill Primary School and Withymoor Primary joined our Trust in March 2024 after working with us in a Trust Partnership. We value the expertise and experience both schools bring to our Trust and enjoyed working with their children and staff teams, during our initial partnership, which then led them to fully convert and join the Trust

Every child deserves the very best education. Every year they are in school is a chapter within their educational journey. The only way a child, and family, is able to thrive is to have the very best educators teaching and supporting them. This is why we put our people at the heart of everything we do. Without them we cannot achieve ‘Success for All’. This is why we have a strategic approach to improving our people so that they can achieve their very best. The wellbeing of everyone in our family is of high importance to us. We are a team and we listen and respond to the needs of our children, families and our academies. 

We continue to support our educators and our schools through Hales Valley Teaching Hub.  We also offer this support wider than our Trust schools. We currently have a number of schools who are in a Trust Partnership with us as they find out what they can gain by being part of Hales Valley Trust. In addition, our partnership schools help us to further improve the education we offer to the schools already in our family. Working together is how we will move education forward. Following the pandemic it became clear to everyone that we need one another in order to achieve more. Helen Keller could not have put it any better:
