About The Primary First Trust

Welcome to Primary First, a Trust that truly nurtures, celebrates, and values the distinctiveness of each of our Schools. We know they have unique characters and ways of working that best serve their communities.

Being part of The Primary First Trust is about protecting their independence and celebrating this, learning from and challenging each other, and using our experiences to inform and enhance best practices.

Our Trust is a true partnership with a growing network of primary schools across Bexley, Gravesham and Medway. All our Schools are at different points on their journey - each with a unique context, considerable strengths and specific opportunities. Our refreshingly collaborative way of working, enviable track record of school improvement and deep understanding of primary-aged learning give us an unmistakable edge in driving up standards in every area of school life.

We are committed to giving our pupils the best possible start in life and tirelessly work to enhance our schools. This is achieved through initiatives such as our robust school development framework and Trust services that offer expert advice for essential functions and demonstrate strong financial expertise.

We also know great education is only possible with great teachers and support staff. We support our colleagues every step of the way to empower them to deliver high-quality education and care.
